The Electric Illuminati is a musical project that consistes of artist Ron English as "band namer" and lyricist. Jack Medicine wrote the music and compiled the band in Southern Colorado with multi-intrumentalist Michael Kimbrell, bass player Craig Haughton, and Jaq Kennedy on drums. The band's success was supposed to be contingent on Ron English's fame (no different then Andy Warhol and The Velvet Underground) but due to various management mishaps and Ron's inability to cross over successfully with this project into musical success the band fizzled and broke up. Don Goede lost tens of thousands of dollars on the project but has been quoted as saying; "The Electric Illuminati was a really fun project as Jack had to write the music mainly over the phone with Ron as he had moved to Colorado in 2004. Trying to help him (Ron) get his melodies out of his head was difficult and never properlry realized, but Jack did a great job on several songs that ended up on the release Songs In English. Theor biggest mistake was going "political" following Ron's extreme left leanings.
