The Next was a band in 1984-85 consisting of Don Goede on keys and vocals, Stephin Kirwin on bass, Wes Ford on drums, and Kevin Busher, on guitar. They disbanded immediately after a group of visting Bermudians heard them play Should I Stay or Should I Go by the Clash and didn't recognize the song. Goede convinced the band to become Frozen Emotion (w/ out Ford and Busher) and work exclusively on originals.
